YOUTH SPORTS

AT THE BARBARA BAUER BRIGGS FAMILY YMCA

YMCA sports programs promote healthy kids, families and communities by placing a priority on family involvement, healthy competition, team building and the value of participation over winning.

Parents are encouraged to be more than mere spectators by contributing their time as volunteer coaches and team parents, as well as, being their kid's number one fan.

WINTER SPORTS

Registration is closed.

BASKETBALL - Games: January 23 - March 6 (6 games guaranteed). Games are scheduled for Saturdays. First jersey is included in the registration fee. Replacement or additional jerseys can be purchased for $20.

CHEER - Performances: January 23 - March 6. Participants will practice once a week and will cheer on Saturdays at the 2021 Winter Youth Basketball Program.

SPRING SPORTS

Members $45/Community $85

Registration: January 1 - February 21

Volleyball, Soccer and Cheer are 7 week programs. Practices and all 6 games will be held at the Barbara Bauer Briggs Family YMCA Gymnasium. Practices are for 1 hour in the afternoon, once a week - time is designated by the coaches. Practices will begin the week of March 15. Games are schedule on Saturday mornings from March 27 - May 1.

Kickball is a 7 week program. All 7 scrimmages will be held at the Barbara Bauer Briggs Family YMCA. Scrimmages are for 1 hour on Friday afternoons. Divisions will be based on age. Participants will meet on each scrimmage day and be divided into teams. Scrimmages are schedule on Fridays from March 19 - May 7. No scrimmages on Good Friday, April 2.

SPRING SPORTS CAMPS

Registration is closed.

Y Sports Camp includes:

  • A personalized training approach that helps kids build on their existing strengths, while working on areas that need improvement.
  • Supplemental training and practice.
  • Skills and confidence building.
  • A camp t-shirt!
