Rob Suarez was born in Colorado, one of eight children. He later moved to San Antonio, where he met his wife, Leah. The couple later got married and moved to Port Lavaca to be closer to her family. They have been married for 27 years and have two sons: Matt, age 23, and Phillip, age 18.

Rob has worked for the YMCA for 4 years as the Sports Director.
