Melody Delgado was born and raised in Port Lavaca. She has been with her high-school sweetheart for 12 years and they have a beautiful daughter named Allyssa, 11 years old. She loves spending time with her family and being involved in her daughter's extracurricular activities. In addition to the many YMCA programs the family is involved in, their daughter is a member of Ballet Folklorico, J/R Elementary Enrichment choir and karate. Mel has worked for the YMCA for two years. She started her employment with the YMCA as a member of the Front Desk Staff. From there, she moved up to Member Services Director/Administrative Assistant.
